*First-time patients please review prep work and contraindications on intake form as soon as you book or on our website fromscratchwellness.com* Colon hydrotherapy may reduce toxic concentrations in the colon. Using the FDA certified AquaNet EC 2000 closed system, we offer both gravitational and gently pressurized colonic sessions. For your safety, we use disposable, one time use speculum kits. Because we specialize in first time clients, the initial appointment is 1 1/2 hours. All follow-up sessions will be 1 hour.
Your initial consultation begins with an explanation of the whole procedure. We explain the filtration system, the mechanics of the session, and answer any questions you may have with regards to what to expect during and after the session. Our colon hydrotherapists are certified through the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists (I-ACT).
Once the session begins, we apply a warm castor oil pack on your abdomen, cover you in warm sheets, and perform reflexology on your feet. The gentle inflow of filtered water is always to your comfort level and the release of waste is controlled by your body's own peristaltic movement. The rest of the session is a repetition of introducing warm filtered water into your large intestine and your body releasing diluted waste. We work within your comfort level and aim to make each session as comfortable as possible.

We'll also perform iridology analysis which consists of analyzing a photo of your eye and charting the reflected health of the various organs and systems of your body. This process offers you a better understanding of the interconnectedness between organs and overall health.

Iridology helps us understand the root cause of disease processes so we can effectively change our diet and lifestyle to obtain greater physical, mental and emotional balance. We'll then perform a bodywork analysis.

Based on our discoveries and insights, we'll design a three month nutrition and herbal protocol which will start the cleansing, stabilizing, and rebuilding process for your body. The protocol will be specialized to address your major health concerns.

Depending upon your situation and goals, in addition to your nutrition and herbal support plan, we may also recommend complimentary bodywork or additional therapies such as colon hydrotherapy, manual lymphatic drainage, visceral manipulation, juice fasting, Qigong, or personal coaching. Keep in mind, we will always work within a pace that is comfortable for you.
